MarinePlan is an EU-Horizon funded project that aims to assess how to foster Ecosystem-Based Marine Spatial Planning in multiple European study sites. The project is interested examining how Marine Spatial Planning and Marine Protected Area processes are managed in existing governance regimes, what governance challenges are experienced by key stakeholders, and how these might be addressed within new governance arrangements.
The analysis has been completed and feedback is now being sought on the assessment and proposed recommendations. For each study site, a StoryMap has been created. MarinePlan invites stakeholders to read the material and participate in a short online questionnaire – available within the StoryMap – to provide feedback on the analysis. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes. Participation will significantly contribute to the final recommendations.
