The European Commission has launched a new call for proposals with €1.7 million in co-funding to promote sea basin cooperation on Maritime Spatial Planning across the European Union. Funded through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF), this initiative specifically targets challenges faced by EU Member States in the Atlantic and Black Sea regions.
Eligibility and Participation: projects must bring together participants from different EU Member States located in the same sea basin, or from different sea basins. Between one and two projects will be funded following this selection process.

- Application Deadline: 15 April 2026 at 17:00 (CEST)
- Proposal Evaluation: April-May 2026
- Results Announcement: June 2026
- Grant Agreement Signature: September-December 2026
