Call for Input: Northern European Sea Basins Project Launches Surveys

Date
NESBp logo

The Northern European Sea Basins project (NESBp) is running two important surveys, and invites all MSP experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to share their opinions. The results of these surveys will help to develop and shape future project deliverables within the Northern European Sea Basins project.

Have your say and contribute to the NESB project's work under the Knowledge Transfer and Sharing work package by taking part in the surveys. Your input is essential for identifying opportunities for improvement of EMODnet services, improving the quality of shared information in MSP geoplatforms as well as improving shared methodologies and digital tools developed under NESB project.

Survey 1: Navigation Safety in MSP
The survey aims to better understand how navigation safety is addressed in MSP processes across European sea basins. It seeks to identify existing practices, data sources, cooperation mechanisms and potential needs for improving coordination between MSP authorities and maritime/navigation safety experts. This survey is open to maritime spatial planning and navigation safety stakeholders.

Survey organisers: Shom (French Hydrographic & Oceanographic Service) and GMU (Gdynia Maritime University)
