The MEDIGREEN project is inviting the general public across Mediterranean countries to take part in an open survey exploring how society perceives and values marine activities beyond their economic dimension. The survey focuses on four key sectors (fisheries, aquaculture, offshore renewable energy, and nature protection) and seeks to capture their cultural, environmental, and social importance in the eyes of citizens.
It has been developed under Task 4.2 of the project and is part of a broader effort to integrate participatory, non-economic values into maritime spatial planning and blue economy discussions across the Mediterranean.
The questionnaire is available in five languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian and Greek), making it accessible to a wide audience across the region. Results will feed directly into MEDIGREEN's knowledge base and contribute to more inclusive and socially grounded MSP processes.
