Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) is an effective tool for conciliating human activities and environmental values, building on spatial data and geoinformation technologies.

Pan Baltic Scope 

The report aims at inspiring planners to work together for coherent maritime spatial planning. It acts as an institutional memory of the work done in the Planning Forum in the Pan Baltic Scope project.

Baltic SCOPE

Depending on the country, maritime spatial planners operate in different contexts and follow different objectives. Therefore, an evaluation framework for MSP has to be flexible, so that it can be adapted to different contexts.

The “Interreg IPA CBC Programme Italy-Albania-Montenegro” is a trilateral cross-border cooperation Programme co-funded by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) in the programming period 2014-2020.

The Vistula Lagoon is one of the most important spawning areas for the Baltic herring and at the moment there is no joint trans-border management plan of activities. Trans-regional cooperation between Russia and Poland needs to be initiated.

The overall objective of the Programme is to support strategic Greece-Italy cross-border co-operation for a more prosperous and sustainable region across the maritime border.
