This call for proposals aims to support activities under Measure 2.2 “Productive investments in aquaculture” in terms of upgrading facilities and diversification of incomes of aquaculture companies. These activities will contribute to improving competitiveness and vitality of the companies operating in the aquaculture sector, including to improving safety of labour conditions. The activities aim at:
- Modernisation of existing aquaculture farms;
- Improving production performance of farms, which do not lead to an increase in production capacity;
- Improving working conditions and safety for aquaculture workers;
- Purchase of equipment to protect farms from wild predators;
- Reducing energy consumption and increasing energy efficiency of aquaculture farms;
- Introducing renewable energy sources as important local inexhaustible resources.
Eligible applicants are sole traders or natural persons registered under the Trade Act or under the Cooperatives Act.
The deadline for submitting applications is 17.00 o’clock (Sofia time) on 25/10/2016. Projects should not exceed the duration of 6 months.
This Call for Proposals is published under the Bulgarian Maritime and Fisheries Programme 2014-2020.
The minimum amount of the eligible grant support is BGN 3 000 / € 1 534.
The maximum amount of the eligible grant support is BGN 48 895 / € 25 000.
The maximum amount of the eligible grand support for the whole programming period per beneficiary, along with its affiliated companies pursuant §1 of the additional provisions of the Trade Act for sector “Small Projects” is BGN 97 790 / € 50 000.
The maximum amount of the eligible grand support per beneficiary, along with its affiliated companies pursuant §1 of the additional provisions of the Trade Act for the whole programming period under Measure 2.2 “Productive investments in aquaculture” is BGN 1 400 000 / € 715 820.
