Training workshop on integrating sustainable tourism in marine and coastal planning, addressing protected areas

The DestiMED+ project, which aims to promote integrated planning in coastal tourism by putting in place concrete Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) and Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) in Mediterranean regional context, is organising an online training workshop. This training will be held on 7 July 2021 from 9:00 to 13:00 and is intended to provide a baseline on MSP and ICZM processes in the Med. The training will demonstrate how these processes can be used by regions, tourism stakeholders and protected area managers in order to develop sustainable tourism initiatives, while benefiting all parties involved, including local communities.
