EU Ocean Act Conference image

The EU Ocean Act Conference will take place on 7–8 July 2026 at the National Opera House in Wexford, Ireland, as part of the programme of events organised under Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The conference will bring together high-level participants from across the EU to discuss the draft Ocean Act, a forthcoming EU legislative instrument designed to unify ocean-related policies, strengthen maritime spatial planning, and promote the sustainable use of marine resources.

A Welcome Reception will be hosted on the evening of 6 July at Whites of Wexford, offering delegates and speakers an opportunity to connect ahead of the conference. On the evening of 7 July, participants are invited to a Gala Dinner at Green Acres Gallery and Restaurant, featuring Wexford's music, culture and local cuisine.
