The aim of the European ESP Conference is to highlight pathways for involving diverse societal groups (e.g., local stakeholders, public and private decision makers, NGOs, civil society organizations, students, businesses) in ES science, policy and practice.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format - allowing for both in-person and digital participation. It will be held in-person at the Galaxy Hotel Iraklio in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, as well as online everywhere from 10-14 October 2022. Whether you will be able to travel to Crete or not, you can still submit your abstracts to any of the sessions listed on the session overview page. The submission deadline is 31 July 2022.
Please feel encouraged to submit your abstract for presentation to the marine and coastal session – “Plural values of marine and coastal ecosystem services towards sustainable spatial planning and an inclusive governance of marine and coastal systems”. Participants interested in presenting oral or poster presentations are invited to submit an abstract. In the abstract submission form, you can choose how you wish to give your presentation - either in-person or virtually. All abstracts will undergo peer review by the session hosts.
